This is an original, one of a kind piece of art. Drawn by cartoonist Joe Dator for The New Yorker magazine, and published in the issue dated November 11, 2024.
It depicts a clam speaking to a fish. The caption reads “Happy? Yeah, sure, I guess I’m as happy as something with zero locomotion and no discernible features or extremities can be.”
It was drawn in pen and ink with ink wash on vellum-finish bristol. Its dimensions are 9" x 12"
