This is an original, one of a kind piece of art. Drawn by cartoonist Joe Dator for The New Yorker magazine, and published in the issue dated September 17, 2018.

It depicts a man giving a piano recital before a large audience, while a woman weighed down with heavy bags stands next to him on the stage, expecting him to get up. The caption reads "A gentleman would offer his seat."

It was drawn in pen and ink with ink wash on vellum-finish bristol. Its dimensions are 9" x 12"
