This is an original, one of a kind piece of art. Drawn by cartoonist Joe Dator for The New Yorker magazine, and published in the issue dated August 28th, 2023.

It depicts a line of army tanks and a jeep with a rocket launcher lined up on a New York City career. A general speaks to a scientist who is pointing at a line of dots on the ground. The caption reads “When you said giant ants were attacking the city, I wish you’d mentioned that it was by ant standards.”

It was drawn in pen and ink with ink wash on vellum-finish bristol. Its dimensions are 9" x 12"
