This is an original, one of a kind piece of art. Drawn by cartoonist Joe Dator for The New Yorker magazine, and published in the issue dated January 13, 2025.
It depicts Santa Claus showing up at a couple’s home, some time after Christmas. The caption reads “I‘m just checking to see if your kid is playing with all the crap I brought him.”
It was drawn in pen and ink with ink wash on vellum-finish bristol. Its dimensions are 9" x 12"
