This is an original, one of a kind piece of art. Drawn by cartoonist Joe Dator for The New Yorker magazine, and published in the issue dated September 13, 2021.

It depicts Captain Ahab answering the door of his apartment to speak to his neighbor. In the background is Moby Dick cooking in an enormous frying pan. The caption reads "What smell?”

It was drawn in pen and ink with ink wash on vellum-finish bristol. Its dimensions are 9" x 12"
